So we assume we know about them just because we use them. For many people, that&#8217;s enough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But some of us need to know more about how computers work beyond the obvious, &#8220;turn it on, move the mouse, and bash the keyboard,&#8221; sort of knowledge. Some of us are just curious and others want to know so that they can be programmers, system administrators (SysAdmins), testers, cybersecurity experts, or whatever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pages in this section will help you understand more about how computers work, both the hardware and the software. We&#8217;ll look at some history of computing, as I think that is an important base on which to build our knowledge.
