I reached a milestone today, 10/28/2026, for my three book series, Using and Administering Linux – 3rd Edition. I finished the technnical revisions for the last few of the 57 chapters in the series.
I still need to create ALT text for the images in the 3rd volume. These ALT texts will be used in the electronic versions of the books. Then my final step will be to review the proofs before thee books go into production. That part is a bit tedious, as the entire work is over 1,500 pages and 500 million words.
The best estimate for availability of this 3rd edition is mid-December. You can already find them for presale on Amazon.
